What is Al Qadir Trust Case?

Former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan was arrested by NAB in the Bahria Town-Al-Qadir University case.
Imran Khan came to appear in Islamabad High Court Tuesday where he was arrested by Rangers. The arrest warrant of former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan was issued by NAB under the signature of the Chairman NAB.
According to the case, On May 5, 2019, then-Prime Minister Imran Khan laid the foundation stone of Al Qadir University. This project is a part of the Al-Qadir University Project Trust. The Land was purchased from a private housing society for this university, which is being investigated by NAB.
Imran Khan was accused by the government Al-Qadir University Trustee Imran Khan and his family. A donation of Rs500 million was made to the university and 450 kanals of land was given.
According to the government, the private housing society gave 200 kanals of land to Farah Gogi.
There is no record of all these transactions. It was a fraud that was plotted, as the university still does not exist.
The land was acquired from Bahria Town in return for giving relief on the confiscated money of Bahria Town in the United Kingdom. In this regard, the government also made public the documents of the Al-Qadir University Trust.
According to the documents, on March 24, 2021, Bahria Town donated 450 kanals of land in the Jhelum Sohawa district to Al-Qadir University Trust. The land agreement was signed between Bahria Town and former First Lady, Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi. Former Prime Minister Imran Khan's wife Bushra Bibi signed the deed on behalf of the Al Qadir University Project Trust as a trustee.
