Child dies of electrocution in Lahore

A child lost his life when an electric wire fell on him while he was playing in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The incident took place in the Haer area of Lahore. Police said that a five-year-old boy who was identified as Hassan, was playing when suddenly an electric wire fell on him.
Soon after receiving the report, police rushed to the site and, after completing the necessary legal proceedings, handed over the dead body of the child to his parents.
Earlier on July 28, 2026, former Test cricketer Mohammad Khalil's 10-month-old daughter had died due to electrocution in Lahore.
