Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice-President Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday taunted Prime Minister Imran Khan over his statement that Opposition will suffer the most if Senate elections are held through secret voting, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Earlier in the day, the Prime Minister, while talking to newsmen at Kallar Syedan, said, “The real issue is whether the Senate elections should be held under the present mechanism or not. The Opposition will suffer the most if secret balloting is held."
The premier also denied any cracks within the ruling coalition at the time of Senate polls.
Reacting to the prime minister’s statement, Maryam Nawaz said, “Haye Allah, Kitni fikar hay opposition ki.” (My God! How much the prime minister is concerned about opposition).
