Fire breaks out at Takht-e-Bhai

A fire erupted at a recreational and historical site in Takht Bhai, approximately 70 kilometres from Peshawar.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the fire broke out on the hill where Buddhist monuments are located.

Firefighters face challenges in controlling blazes due to difficult terrain.

The firemen used traditional methods to put off the fire as no heavy machinery or water cannon could reach the top.

The cause of the fire remained unknown till the filing of this report.
