Kiran Ashfaque, the ex-wife of actor Imran Ashraf Sunday shared a candid post on Instagram about how she learned from her mistake of changing herself for a man. The former couple got divorced last year after being married for four years.

Ashfaque posted a photo on her Instagram and captioned it, "I swear, by my life and my love of it, that I will never live for the sake of another man, nor ask another man to live for mine. Do not change your personality or anything for anyone. I did it, and I regret it," she added.

Ashraf and Ashfaque announced their separation in October 2022 with a joint statement on Instagram that stated that they have mutually decided to part ways and will continue to be the best parents for their son. They also requested their fans, well-wishers and the media to respect their privacy and support them during this difficult time.

Kiran later opened up about their divorce in a Q&A session on Instagram. She hinted at some issues between them, stressed the importance of not accepting disrespect, and advised to run away from red flags. She also slammed the tendency to blame women after divorce. "All that glitters is not gold," she said after some of Ashraf's fans accused her, claiming that their divorce was not one-sided.

Both the actors got married in 2018 and have a son named Roham. The rumors about their divorce sparked after Kiran changed her Instagram name and removed all the photos with Imran. The duo used to attend many award shows and events together, but now they seem to have parted ways.
