Humaira Asghar's body is likely nine months old, reports

According to the police sources, the initial findings suggest that the body of late actress Humaira Asghar Ali may have been lying there for approximately nine months.

In a shocking development, the body of actress Humaira Asghar was found in her residential apartment in Karachi. The body was in an ‘advanced stage of decomposition.’  

Late-night investigations were conducted by police officials, along with a female Medico-Legal Officer (MLO). Important forensic evidences were collected from the apartment. 

The MLO reportedly collected several items, including food and beverage containers, from the scene. The expiration date on the food and drinks received from the flat is 2024, which indicated that they had been there for a significant time.

Police officials revealed that the last activity carried out through Humaira’s phone was in September 2024, involving message exchange with an online taxi driver. 

Her last communication with the flat owner dates back to 2024. Since October 2024, there has been no activity on her mobile phone. 

Her family members have now contacted authorities to claim her body. Her brother-in-law has reportedly approached Police officials for the formal release of her remains. 

However, the cause of the death will only be determined after the completion of the post-mortem report.
