Rustam-e-Lahore Dangal revived

The newly-elected office-bearers of Lahore District Wrestling Association on Friday announced the relaunch of Rustam-e-Lahore wrestling competition (Dangal), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Total prize money of Rs150,000 was also announced for the winner as well as for the runner-up on the occasion.   

The announcement was made at the Association’s meeting, which was held at the PSB’s coaching centre.  

Earlier Mehar Akram alias Kala Pehlwan was elected as the Association president while Chaudhry Murtaza Rasheed as secretary.  

Speaking on the occasion, Mehar Akram said that date for the start of the wrestling competition would be announced soon. 

He expressed the hope that the event would help in identifying the talented youth.
