Punjab Assembly Speaker and PML-Q leader Chaudhary Pervez Elahi arrived in Islamabad Thursday to meet party leaders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He also attended meeting with the MQM leaders and will also meet PML-Q parliamentary members in Islamabad.

Pervez Elahi has been meeting with ruling PTI leaders and opposition leaders for the last couple of days amid the highly-charged political environment of the country in the wake of no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran khan.

Pervez Elahi Tuesday met with the provincial ministers including Law Minister Raja Basharat and Minister for Local Bodies Mian Mehmoodur Rasheed.

He also held meetings with Jahangir Khan Tareen group members. A six-member delegation of Tareen group headed by Provincial Minister Nauman Langrial had called on Pervez Elahi at his residence in Lahore the other day.
