Five fall ill after drinking expired milk tea in Narowal

Five people, including children, fell seriously ill after allegedly consuming tea prepared with expired liquid milk in the Talwandi Bhindran area of Narowal, according to a report aired by 24NewsHD TV on Sunday.

Rescue 1122 officials reached the scene shortly after receiving information about the incident and provided first aid to the affected individuals.

The patients were later shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital in Narowal for further medical treatment.

Rescue officials said both children and adults were among those affected by the suspected food poisoning incident.

Authorities have yet to confirm the exact cause of the illness, although expired liquid milk used in the tea is believed to have caused the patients’ condition to deteriorate.
