Twenty Indian-sponsored Khwarij killed in KP operations: ISPR

Pakistan Security Forces killed twenty Indian-sponsored militants of Fitna al Khwarij during two separate intelligence-based operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on November 8 and 9, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a statement on Monday.

According to the ISPR,  an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in Shawal following a tip-off about the presence of khwarij, North Waziristan District.

During the operation, Pakistan troops effectively engaged the khwarij location; eight Indian sponsored khwarij were sent to hell.

Another intelligence-based operation was conducted in Dera Adam Khel District, and after an intense fire exchange, twelve more khwarij were effectively neutralized.

The military’s media wing added that sanitization operations are ongoing to eliminate any remaining Indian-sponsored elements in the area.

It reaffirmed that Pakistan’s Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies remain fully committed to eradicating terrorism under the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign “Azm-e-Istehkam,” approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan.

“The operations will continue at full pace until the complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country,” the ISPR statement concluded.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has paid tribute to Pakistan’s Security Forces for their successful counterterrorism operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In a statement issued today, the Interior Minister lauded the professional excellence and timely response of the Security Forces, saying they had thwarted the nefarious designs of the terrorists in the province.

“The Security Forces foiled the evil intentions of the Khwarij by acting swiftly and effectively,” Naqvi said. “I salute the forces for sending 20 terrorists to hell and commend their outstanding professionalism.”
