Bilawal Bhutto returns from Germany

Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto returned home after finishing his visit to Germany.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari went to Germany on a two-day visit.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari first visited Asif Ali Zardari after reaching Karachi. Showing solidarity with Pakistan, Germany announced an additional one million euros in aid for the calamity-hit people.

It is difficult to estimate how much destruction was caused by the flood in Pakistan, German Foreign Minister Annalina Bierbock said while addressing a joint press along with her Pakistani counterpart in Belin.

Pakistan is the most affected by climate change, she said adding that flood-born diseases have been adding to flood victims' woes. Bilawal Bhutto highlighted the devastation caused by recent flooding that claimed hundreds of lives and displaced thousands of families. 

He paid the visit at the invitation of his German counterpart. The focus of the visit was on deepening Pakistan's economic ties with Germany. Pakistan has a long-standing, multifaceted relationship with Germany.
