Two terrorists bite the dust in Bannu operation

Two most-wanted terrorists, including the mastermind of the attack which resulted in the martyrdom of four Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) police personnel have been killed in an operation in Bannu, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

According to CCD, there was confidential information that terrorists were planning a major operation on Company Road within the limits of Domail police station.

CTD and district police took immediate action and surrounded the area.

Terrorists opened fire on the personnel in an attempt to escape.

CTD and police retaliated vigorously to arrest the terrorists.

The encounter continued for about twenty-five minutes. Two terrorists were found dead in the search and clearance operation.

The slain terrorists were identified as Rashidin alias Malang Yar and Khalid Usman alias Usman. Both the slain terrorists belong to Bannu.

Terrorist Rashidin alias Malang Yar was the mastermind behind the attack on the CTD team on April 30.

Four personnel including ASI Beniamin were martyred and one was injured in the attack.
