At least four people were killed and five others injured in various road accidents in different localities of Chiniot on Friday.

According to details, an over speeding passenger bus hit a motorcycle at Jhumra Road near Kot Khudayar resultantly Falak Sher was killed on the spot.

At Jhang Road near Hajiabad area, seat of tractor trolley broke due to which two people were trapped. One person Muhammad Farooq died in the incident while Aslam was critically injured.

A man identified as Zahid was killed while Irfan was critically injured in collision between truck and motorcycle.

An over-speeding pickup crushed to death a motorcycle rider.

In collision between hiace and motorcycle at Tarkhanwala Road, a 35-year-old person was killed.

The bodies and injured were shifted to different hospitals and the police after registering separate cases at concerned police stations have started investigations.
