FIA extradite proclaimed offender from Bahrain after 14-year

With the help of Interpol, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has successfully brought a proclaimed offender from Bahrain after 14 years who was most wanted in a murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel. 

The proclaimed offender Asif Javed was brought to Lahore airport from Manana. A murder FIR was registered against him in Bhera, Sargodha almost 14 years back in 2014. 

FIA Interpol had issued a red notice for the arrest of the accused. The accused was later handed over to the Punjab Police authorities by FIA Immigration Lahore. The extradition of the accused was possible due to close coordination between Interpol Islamabad and Interpol Bahrain.
