Punjab Specialized Health Dept fails to bring unified recruitment policy

Punjab Specialized Health Department seems confused in its recruitment process as hiring of faculty and doctors in teaching hospitals continued under three formats in one go i,e contract, ad hoc and daily wages, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

Punjab Specialized Health Department is testing various model of recruitments which may hurt the department’s performance as its human resource department has failed to bring uniformed policy. The department is planning to hire 65-years old doctors on contracts.

In order to overcome human resources shortage, health department should have a solid recruitment policy but civil bureaucracy continued new recruitment experiments to hide serious incompetence.
