Director Health Services Rawalpindi on Sunday issued the Congo Virus alert as cattle markets are being set up across the country on account of Eidul Azha, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He ordered all the district health officials to take measures to prevent the chances of the spread of the virus in animals.

The director further said that the livestock department would keep an eye on all animals in cattle markets.

He urged customers to make sure that the animals they were buying did not have spots on them.
