Another person who was involved in incidents of violence on May 9 has been arrested, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Islam Zeb, younger brother of Shahzeb, the culprit, has said that what happened on May 9 was deplorable. “Whosoever talks against the state institutions does no good to himself or his family since Pakistan Army defends our country’s borders,” he has said, adding, “Whoever resorted to vandalism and arson on that day is the enemy of this country and the nation.”

Thousands of people took to streets to vent their anger when they learnt about the arrest of former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan in Islamabad on May 9.

They ransacked buildings, including those belonging to military, and even set several of them on fire.

They did not even hesitate to damage memorials of the Pakistan Army’s martyrs.
