Trailer falls into drain as driver plays with rooster

Dangerous driving habits are on the rise and continue to pose serious risk on Karachi’s roads, with the latest incident reported near Korangi Chamra Chorangi when a driver laid focus on playing with his pet than on the road.

The bizarre incident occurred when an 18-ton trailer crashed into an electric pole and overturned into a nearby drain after its driver allegedly began playing with a rooster and got distracted, eventually losing control of the vehicle.

According to the Karachi Traffic Police, no casualties were reported following the incident.

However, the driver’s reckless behavior has sparked serious concerns about driver conduct and road safety among citizens.

The driver fled from the scene right after the scene along with his rooster, and efforts were underway to locate him.

A crane has been deployed in order to remove the overturned trailer and facilitate the restoration of traffic in the affected area.
