Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has decided to strongly oppose the national budget for the financial year, 2021-22 to be presented by the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government today (Friday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The decision was taken at the party’s parliamentary party meeting at Parliament House in Islamabad, with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in the chair.
The party leaders concurred that since what they called the PTI government had made ‘anti-poor’ budget, therefore, it would be bitterly opposed.

In this connection, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari gave instructions to the party leaders to give the government a tough time during the budget session and afterwards.
Similarly, PPP leaders, while condemning the passage of bills in the National Assembly on Thursday (June 10) without completion of the quorum, called it a ‘dictatorial’ act on the part of PTI government.
