Cases registered against pro-PTI figures under PECA act

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cyber Crime Wing has started registering cases under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Cases have been filed against individuals accused of spreading propaganda against the Pakistan Army and government officials.

Two cases have been registered against PTI-affiliated figures, including Dr. Shahbaz Gill, Adil Raja, Ahmad Noorani, Shafiqur Rehman, Sabir Shakir, and Waqar Malik.

The FIRs include charges under the PECA act and cyberterrorism provisions.
