Unidentified gunmen killed a young religious scholar Maulana Muhammad Usama in Swabi district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He was returning from his shop on his bike when he came under attack. 

In another incident, a PTI leader’s nephew was killed when he came under attack by unidentified gunmen near Farooq Banda. The deceased was named as Hamad. The body was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital for postmortem.
