COAS Bajwa, US Centcom chief discuss Kashmir, other issues

US Centcom Commander General Kenneth F McKenzie Jr called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Friday and discussed various issues, said ISPR.

According to the military’s media wing, geo-strategic environment, regional security, Pak-US military cooperation including Afghanistan peace process and Kashmir situation came under discussion during the meeting.

In a tweet, the ISPR DG wrote: “General Kenneth F McKenzie Jr, Commander US CENTCOM, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa. Geo-strategic environment, regional security, Pak - US military cooperation including #Afghanistan Peace Process and #Kashmir situation discussed.”
