Pakistan intel agencies trace major cyber-attack by India

Pakistani intelligence agencies have traced a major cyber-attack by Indian spy agencies, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Wednesday.

Pakistani agencies have identified the major cyber-attack by the Indian intelligence agencies involving a range of cybercrimes including deceitful fabrication by hacking personal mobiles and technical gadgets of the government officials and the military personnel.

According to the ISPR statement, various targets of the hostile intelligence agencies are being investigated by the Pakistani agency.

In the meanwhile, Pakistan Army has further enhanced necessary measures to thwart such activities including action against violators of standing operating procedures (SOPs) on cyber security.

Advisory is also being sent to all the government departments/institutions for identifying lapses and enhancing respective cyber security measures, the ISPR statement concluded.
