Petitioner dies due to cardiac arrest in Supreme Court

A petitioner died on Friday due to cardiac arrest on his return from hearing of his case in the Supreme Court of Pakistan in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to details, Abid Hussain, who was 70, filed a petition in the Supreme Court relating to the construction of his house on July 22, 2024.

His case was at Serial No. 8 of the cause list titled “Mohammad Ramzan versus Abid Hussain”.

After today’s hearing of the case, Abid Hussain suffered a heart attack at the reception of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

A two-member bench of the Supreme Court comprising Justice Irfan Saadat Khan and Justice Malik Shehzad heard the case and later adjourned the hearing of the case.

On November 11, 2025, the first hearing of the case was held. This was the second hearing of the case.
