The American dollar has lost more value against Pakistani rupee and fell below Rs159 after three months, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The US dollar lost 25 paisas on Friday and closed at Rs158.82 from Rs159.07.
The dollar came down to its lowest level in three months in the inter-bank trading. However, in the open market the American currency stayed at Rs159.30.
According to forex dealers, there are many reasons for the strengthening rupee as additional dollars were pouring in government’s Roshan Digital Accounts.
They further said that there was a visible foreign interest in Pakistani bonds.
