Lahore Qalandars skipper and star-studded fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi called Multan Sultans captain Mohammad Rizwan a role model after he came up with the heartwarming gesture of offering him a hug during the 17th match of the seventh edition of Pakistan Super League.

The heartwarming response from Mohammad Rizwan soon became viral on social media, and the netizens along with Shaheen Shah started to pour applauses for Rizwan.

The reason behind receiving appreciation is that the way Rizwan offered Shaheen a hug, while flashing a smile. Rizwan could have been angry on Shaheen’s trick of striking the ball back at the right handed batsman

Taking to the Twitter, Shaheen wrote: “I have my utmost respect and admiration for this man.”

He said that it's always a pleasure to share the field with him, be as teammates or as opposition.

Always very competitive yet so humble and friendly, he's set the benchmark for everyone, added the left arm pacer.

In conclusion, Shaheen declared Rizwan, “A proper role model”.
