PTI founder orders restructuring of core committee

The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, has ordered the re-formation of the party’s core committee, emphasizing the need to remove old faces and bring in more dynamic and ideologically committed members, according to party sources.

The restructuring aims to ensure that only those who actively promote the party's narrative remain in key decision-making positions.

Party insiders revealed that core committee members who fail to engage with PTI’s messaging on social media, particularly by not retweeting the founder’s posts, will be the first to be removed.

PTI’s social media team has reportedly been directed to closely monitor the online activity of committee members. Those who do not amplify the founder’s statements or align with his ideological stance will be deemed compromised and dismissed from the committee.

Sources further quoted the PTI founder as saying that there is no place for complacent individuals in the party’s core committee, and only those who can bear the burden of his ideology will retain their positions.
