Asim Azhar just sent fans on an emotional trip down memory lane after sharing a throwback video from 2016. The video features OST of drama serial Anabiya, which he recorded when he was only 19 years old.

The singer posted the clip with the heartfelt caption, “not ready to accept iss gaane ko bhi 10 saal hogaye hain, i was only 19 years old. damn. how old were u?”

Also in the reel itself, he added, “pov: its 2016 again.” And just like that, it really did feel like 2016 all over again for fans who grew up listening to his early songs and jingles.

Serial Anabiya is described as the journey of a girl, Anabiya, in pursuit of happiness and trust. The serial OST became one of those that quietly stayed on playlists for years. 

The shared clip instantly sparked nostalgia in the comments section, with fans recalling how the song once and till now rules their headphones.

Asim responded honestly to the request, saying, "i really want to but i can only add so many songs in a 1.5 hrs at max setlist :(((("
