The world population has exceeded 8 billion, sounding alarms.

India with 1.31 billion people has become the world’s most populace state, followed by China, America, Indonesia and Pakistan.

Pakistan's population is growing more than twice the rate of the developed states. This population growth rate is 1.91 per cent - faster than India's 0.7

This rate is 0.52% in China and 0.47% in America, according to the United Nations report.

If the world's population continues to grow at this rate, it may reach 12 billion in the next 50 years,  the UN said raising serious concerns.

It added after 2050, Nigeria will become the third most populous country in the world after India and China while after that, America, Pakistan, Indonesia, Brazil, Congo, Ethiopia and Bangladesh will become countries with large populations.

Since the last census, the population of Pakistan has increased significantly by about 50 million people. The country's resources are decreasing at the same speed as this population is increasing.

The increasing growth rate began to put a heavy burden on Pakistan's limited resources.

Due to the imbalance in resources and population, a large number of Pakistani citizens do not have access to basic and quality facilities such as employment, education, health and water.

Despite being an agricultural country, Pakistan is not able to meet the required amount of food for such a large population

Compared to Pakistan, the US and China have lower population growth rates and more resources.

Developed countries also spend more on people due to more resources. Because of this the quality of life there is much better.

Like other countries, unless the population is controlled in Pakistan, it is not possible to improve the country's economy.

If the rate of Pakistani population continues to increase in the same way, can the problems faced in the future be faced?
