Veteran Pakistani actor Asim Bukhari passes away
Veteran Pakistani actor Asim Bukhari passed away in Lahore on Wednesday at the age of 76, leaving the television, film and theatre community in mourning.
The senior artist had been battling kidney and heart complications and had remained hospitalized for the past fifteen days.
According to reports, he had been suffering from multiple health issues for some time. Despite medical treatment, his condition worsened, leading to his passing earlier this week.
Throughout his long career, Asim Bukhari worked in numerous television dramas, stage productions, and films, earning recognition for his versatile performances. In addition to acting, he was also respected as an acting teacher who mentored many aspiring performers in the industry.
News of his death has saddened fans and members of the entertainment fraternity, many of whom have paid tribute to the veteran actor and remembered his contributions to Pakistani showbiz.
It is also reported that his son, Ajlal Bukhari, is currently undergoing treatment for gallstones at a hospital in London.
Condolences have poured in from colleagues and admirers, with many praying that Allah grants the late actor the highest place in Jannah and gives strength to his family during this difficult time.
