Two dead in different firing incidents in Karachi

Two people, including one woman, died, and several others became seriously injured during different firing incidents in Karachi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

The first accident occurred at Star Gate Malir, Karachi, in which a woman died and three others, including two women, received injuries when their car was overturned due to speeding.

The dead woman was later identified as Asma, who was 50 and Muntiha, 23, Purmal, 22 and Awais, 17 received serious injuries.

Rescue sources said that the car was completely damaged after the incident.

In a police encounter in Orangi Town one dacoit was gunned-down and his other accomplices escaped from the scene.

The dead dacoit was identified as Noor Hussain alias Nono Wald. Police also recovered one pistol and several bullets from their possession.

Another police encounter took place near Choti Market located in Landi in which, during heavy exchange of fire, one pedestrian, Dost Mohammad, received serious injuries. 

The injured accused were shifted to the hospital and their other accomplices escaped from the scene.

In a police encounter in Saeedabad two accused who were riding a motorcycle became seriously injured.

During exchange of fire, two injured accused were arrested and two of their accomplices escaped from the scene.

The arrested accused were identified as Lal Mohammad and Sanaullah. Police recovered weapons, motorcycle and snatching mobiles from their possession.

The injured accused were identified as Lal Mohammad and Sanaullah.

Another police encounter took place at M.A. Jinnah Road near Aurangzeb Market in which two accused were arrested.

Police recovered arms and motorcycle from their possession.
