Iran warns Saudi Arabia, Japan and Jordan over support for anti-Iran resolution

Iran has warned Saudi Arabia, Japan and Jordan that they will face consequences for supporting an anti-Iran resolution, as tensions continue to rise between Tehran and the United States, 24NewsHd TV reported on Saturday.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said the three countries would have to bear the consequences of their decision to back the resolution.

Baghaei also claimed that the Strait of Hormuz remained under Iran’s full control.

He said the United States should be held responsible for the rising cost of fuel in global markets.

Meanwhile, Ibrahim Azizi, head of Iran’s National Security Committee, said Tehran would not resume negotiations with the United States until its conditions were accepted.
