PPP leaders resign from PDM posts

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has formally quit the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) as its leaders have resigned from the PDM posts, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
After written approval from PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the resignations were delivered at the residence of PDM chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman by PPP leader Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari.
The PPP leaders who quit their PDM posts were Senator Sherry Rehman, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and Qamar Zaman Kaira.
Meanwhile, Maulana Fazl has convened a meeting of the anti-government alliance. The PPP and the ANP have not been invited to the meeting. Only eight parties have been invited to the huddle.
