Spain reopens embassy in Tehran

Spain has reopened its embassy in Iran’s capital, Tehran, marking a renewed diplomatic presence after a period of withdrawal prompted by regional security concerns, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.

Spanish Foreign Minister said the government had instructed its ambassador to return to Tehran and resume duties.

He said Spain aims to support efforts toward peace “by all possible means,” underscoring Madrid’s interest in playing a constructive role in regional stability.

The embassy had previously been partially evacuated, with staff withdrawn amid ongoing concerns over repeated US and Israeli airstrikes in and around the Iranian capital.
