There is a ‘twist’ in the Quetta video scandal case as the mother of the two women, who was the first complainant against two men for making objectionable videos of her daughters, has all of a sudden disappeared, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Sources in the police told 24News that not only her home was locked but her cellphone was also switched off.

On the other hand, there is no clue to the whereabouts of her two daughters.  

It was on the woman’s complaint that police had arrested two brothers Hidayat Khilji and Khaleel Khilji, and currently, they are in police custody on physical remand.

In the FIR, the woman had got registered against both brothers with Quaidabad police station, she had alleged that both of them lured her daughters on the pretext of providing them jobs; but rather than providing them jobs, raped them and made their objectionable videos.

On the other hand, Nazir alias Shani, another suspect in the case, is still at large, and the police are carrying out raids at different places to arrest him.

Around three days back, on December 10 (Friday), 24News had reported on another video scandal in the country’s history, and this time from no other area but Quetta, capital of conservative Balochistan, where it had emerged that two brothers and some other men would lure poor women into their trap by offering them jobs.

But instead of providing them jobs, they would rape them, beat them and also make their nude videos.  

After arresting Khilji brothers on the complaint of one of the women, police said they had recovered mobile phones and laptops which they used to record videos of the women.

Police further revealed that a case of kidnapping two women was also registered against the accused. At present, the kidnapped women are in Afghanistan as their video has gone viral on social media. They said the law enforcement agencies were holding talks with the Afghan authorities for the repatriation of the snatched women.  Reporter: Rizwan Saeed
