Lollywood actress Meera returned home via PIA special flight on late Tuesday.

Meera was stuck in New York due to the coronavirus lockdown. After arriving at the airport, she along with other passengers was shifted to quarantine facility where they will be kept for 48 hours. Meera’s sample was taken for the coronavirus test. She would be allowed to go home if report of her test comes negative.

On April 20, she uploaded a video in which she appealed the Prime Minister Imran Khan to bring her back at home.

In the video message, Meera said: “I came to New York with Humayun Saeed and other cast members for the shooting of a film. All of my colleagues have gone back safely to the country but I’m stuck in New York. I have no savings left and my survival is now getting difficult.”
