25 more dengue cases reported in Islamabad
The number of dengue cases in the federal capital is increasing rapidly as 25 new cases are reported in last 24 hours, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to District Health Office (DHO), out of the 25 new dengue cases, 18 patients are from rural areas, 7 from urban areas. The 14 dengue patients undergoing treatment in hospital. According to details, there are 8 cases reported from Bhara Kahu, 4 from Soan, 2 from Sector G-5 and one case reported from G-6, G-13, I-8, I-9 and H-13 each.
Moreover, one case reported in Alipur, Koral, Rawat, Sihala, Tarlai and Tarnol each. The dengue surveillance teams have inspect 486 locations and identified 15 positive hotspots and also sprayed in 27 patients' homes and 1129 surrounding homes. DHO said that fogging was carried out at locations to prevent the spread of dengue.
