Second ship under Afghan Transit Trade berthed at Gwadar Port

A second ship carrying 20,000 metric tons of fertilizer under Afghan Transit Trade (ATT) successfully berthed at Gwadar Port, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The vessel, carrying Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) fertilizer, marks another milestone in enhancing regional trade connectivity.

Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry welcomed the successful berthing of the second Afghan Transit Trade Ship at Gwadar Port.

Talking on the occasion, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Junaid Akbar Chaudhary said that second shipment of Afghan Transit Trade will enhance confidence of international investors on Gwadar port operations.

He said that Gwadar port is becoming an important trade destination of the world. He further said that Afghanistan will get access to international markets through Gwadar port.

Junaid Akbar Chaudhary said that trade ties between Pakistan and Afghan will become more strengthened in future.
