A large quantity of heroin was seized at Lahore Airport on Sunday in a joint operation by Customs and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to the ANF, several cartons filled with heroin were seized from the cargo section of Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport.

The goods were booked by Sialkot’s agent Prime Cargo International and the heroin was deftly hidden in gloves cartons. The cartons were booked for London through Virgin Atlantic’s flight.

ANF officials said they were trying to determine the exact quantity of the heroin and its worth.
