The Airports Security Force (ASF) Wednesday foiled a drug smuggling bid at Karachi Airport, reported 24News HD TV channel. 

As per details, the ASF foiled a heroin smuggling attempt and arrested a Dubai-bound passenger.  

More than 1.5 kg of heroin hidden in the shoes of the passenger was recovered. The seized drugs are worth around Rs15 million. 

The passenger was traveling to Dubai by Emirates Airlines.
