Imran Khan quizzed by JIT in threatening female judge case
Warns govt not to push PTI against wall, says party will become even stronger: Rules out any dialogue with govt except parleys on holding fair elections

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan on Wednesday appeared before a four-member joint investigation team (JIT) at the SSP Islamabad office amid tight security in a case relating to threatening female judge Zeba Chaudhary, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The JIT of Islamabad Police is headed by SSP (Operations) Islamabad Farhat Abbas Kazmi.
Imran Khan faced some 20 minutes of investigation by the JIT and answered questions posed by the police, which later handed the PTI chief a written questionnaire containing 21 queries.
It is pertinent to mention here that Islamabad High Court (IHC) had ordered Imran Khan to become part of the investigation in the contempt case against him for threatening a female judge.
The court also ordered the police to complete investigation and submit their report.

Talking to reporters after appearing before the JIT, Imran Khan reiterated his demand for free and fair elections.
He lashed out at government for its highhandedness. He said that the terrorism case against him had become a joke in front of entire world. The world is laughing at the registration of this case against him, he added.
He said his party leader Shahbaz Gill was subjected to physical torture and he only requested to take a legal action against it.
On holding dialogues with the government, he said that he could hold talks with the government only on fair and transparent elections.
Imran said he remained quiet due to worsening economic condition and floods in the country but cautioned the powers that be ‘as much as you are pushing us against the wall, we are becoming stronger’.
He believed that the government could not hold if he gave the (protest) call, adding that the country was heading to a direction similar to that of Sri Lanka.
The PTI chief was of the view that the government could not dare come out in the public. He rued that it was browbeating those who were raising political funds.
Imran visits flood-hit areas of DG Khan
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and former premier Imran Khan will visit Dera Ismael Khan flood-hit area on Wednesday (today), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Imran Khan will visit Basti Jhatani to express his condolences with the family members of the floodwaters victims.
The local administration has made full proof arrangement prior to the visit of PTI chairman.
Imran Khan will reach Multan at 12:30pm. On the occasion, senior minister of Punjab government, Mian Aslam Iqbal will also accompanied PTI chairman.
