Driver’s alertness saves train from major disaster in Sukkur

A passenger train escaped a major disaster in Sukkur due to the driver’s presence of mind on Wednesday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Karachi Express while travelling non-stop from Karachi to Punjab averted the disaster after the train’s driver spotted an iron-made object planed on the tracks.
The alert driver timely applied the brakes and was able to stop the train only a few feet away before it could hit the obstacle, saving the lives of the passengers.
Had the train hit that iron-made object it would have been derailed.
