Quetta Gladiators booked at 110

Quetta Gladiators, in the third match of PSL8 bashed by the Sultans having scored only 110 runs with the whole team booked. The Gladiators gave the Sultans a target of 111 runs.

Martin Guptill was the first fallen wicket having scored only seven runs on six balls. He managed to score a four and was caught out by Pollard. The second wicket of Abdul Bangalzai fell on only a single run in six balls. He was also caught out by Pollard. The captain Sarfaraz Ahmed managed to score only two runs on seven balls and was bowled by the emerging talent Ihsanullah. Jason Roy’s wicket fell afterwards as he was caught out by Miller. He scored a total of 27 runs on 18 balls. He scored three 4s and one sixer. An Lbw caused Iftikhar Ahmed’s wicket to fall and he was not able to score anything as he was only able to play a single ball.

Mohammad Nawaz’s wicket fell following Iftikhar by an Lbw after he managed to score 14 runs on 18 balls with two 4s. Umar Akmal scored 11 runs on 17 balls and scored a four. He was caught out by Mohammad Rizwan. Naseem Shah was bowled out at only one run at two balls. Afterwards, Mohammad Hasnain was also caught out by Mohammad Rizwan after having scored 22 runs on 20 balls and also pulling off two fours. Mohammad Hafeez was the last man standing as his was the last wicket to fall. He was caught out at 18 runs scored on 15 balls and he scored a four and a sixer. Nuwan Thushara remained not-out as he was on running having played three balls and not able to score any runs.
