Twitter has announced that it will be removing Fleets – the feature it released in November last year.

"We're removing Fleets on August 3," the company said in goodbye tweet, adding that it is working on some new stuff.

In the goodbye tweet, the social media announced that the short-lived feature will no longer be available from on August 3. 

It is stated that the Fleet creation features like GIFs and stickers will be implemented into tweet composers.
