FCC suspends inquiry order against SPSC

In a major relief, the Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has suspended the inquiry order against the Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Federal Constitutional Court also suspended the order of the Sindh High Court regarding the suspension of interviews of successful candidates.

The FCC suspended the order for the rechecking of the papers of failed candidates. The court also issued notices to the respondents of the case. 

During the hearing of the case, Justice Ali Baqir Najfi said that the Sindh High Court had given a final relief to the respondents.

The Sindh Public Service Commission lawyer said that, as per the constitution, no verdict can be announced by passing the constitution. Hafiz Ehsan Khokhar said that the Sindh High Court surpassed the limits.

The lawyer of the candidates said that the Sindh High Court also ordered to dissolve Sindh Public Service Commission.

He said that after adopting new rules, the Sindh Public Service Commission started operations. Hafiz Ehsan Khokhar said that we have no connection with the allegations.

Later, the Federal Constitutional Court adjourned the hearing of the case after the summer vacation.
