Large number of fish die due to ‘poisoning’ in Rawal Dam

Once again, a large number of fish have died in Rawal Dam in Rawalpindi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

According to sources, the dead fish appeared on the surface of the water and amassed near the banks.

Sources revealed that every year, the contractor poisons the water and kills the fish.

The contractor's poisoning caused the fish to die and float on the surface. 

The contractor and his staff have been busy cleaning the fish from Rawal Dam for two days. 

The administration has not yet taken any action against the killing of fish in Rawal Dam.

The Rawalpindi administration manages the contract for fish and water in Rawal Dam.

The Islamabad district administration is taking steps to control boating and spillways in Rawal Dam.
