All public and private schools in Sindh have resumed educational activities of grade 5th to 8th with 50 percent attendance amid coronavirus SOPs, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Saying goodbye to online classes, the students and teachers have now resumed on-school classes from today.

Sindh Education Minister Saeed Ghani said that the vaccination process is mandatory for the teachers and schools staffers. 

NCOC Task Force’s sixth meeting had decided to resume schools for grade 5th and 8th after coronavirus cases declined significantly. 

The NCOC has also decided to resume primary classes from June 21 keeping in view the ratio of the COVID-19 cases in Sindh.

Moreover, after the corona cases declined in Sindh, the provincial government has decided to open the markets and shops for six days a week. Now markets will remain closed for only one holiday.

Sindh has also allowed 100 percent attendance in the public and private offices.

As per National Command and Operation Centre data released, in last 24 hours (Monday) Sindh has reported 479 new cases of COVID-19 taking the cases tall to 328,663 and 13 people lost their life due to coronavirus taking the death toll to 5,256.
