Crossfire between two groups claims four lives in Shikarpur

Four people died and another five sustained critical injuries during a crossfire between two rival groups of a local tribe of Shikarpur, the 24News HD TV channel reported on Saturday.

The police stated that four people including a woman were shot dead and another five including two women were critically injured as two groups of the Kosh tribe exchanged fire.

The crossfire continued with intervals in Khair Muhammad Kosh village of the Khanpur Tehsil due to a longstanding enmity between the rivalries.

The police force has been deployed in the area to control the situation.

However, the bodies and the injured could not be transported to the hospital.
