Strong quake jolts Swat, adjoining areas

A 4.20 magnitude earthquake jolted Swat city and adjoining areas on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The epicenter of the earthquake was the frontier area of Pakistan, Afghanistan and Tajikistan with a depth of 115 kilometers.
On August 4, a 5.3 magnitude earthquake jolted capital Islamabad and various cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including Swabi, Upper Dir, and Mingora.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department said the earthquake was 159km deep and its epicenter was in the Hindukush region in Afghanistan.
