Lahore crowned champions of Punjab Women’s Hockey Ch'ship after thrashing Bahawalpur

Lahore Division’s women’s hockey team emerged as champions of the Jashan-e-Azadi Punjab inter-division Women’s Hockey Championship, defeating Bahawalpur Division 5-1 in a one-sided final at the National Hockey Stadium, Lahore, on Sunday.

Lahore displayed complete dominance from start to finish, outclassing Bahawalpur with superior strategy and teamwork.
Earlier, Faisalabad Division secured third place with a victory over Sahiwal Division.

The concluding ceremony was attended by key officials of Pakistan's women’s hockey team. Tansila Amir Cheema, head of the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) Women’s Wing, Abida Tanveer, President of Punjab Women’s Hockey Association, Secretary Rahat Khan, Chand Parveen, and Sehrish Ghumman distributed prizes among the players.

The winning team, Lahore Division, received a cash award of Rs. 300,000, while the runner-up, Bahawalpur Division, was awarded Rs. 200,000. Faisalabad Division, finishing third, took home Rs. 100,000.
